Postmarked
Ron Hunting’s play, “Everything You Hear and Only Half of What You See,” was turned into a feature film in 2015.
This dark comedy, adapted by Gene Ganssle and produced by ASU film students, faculty, alumni as well as the local community, is a brilliant story arose out of Ron’s career as a local letter carrier. An ordinary mail delivery route turns deadly for two mail carriers who may have seen too much. But as a warehouse interrogation unfolds, more hostages are taken and crime boss Jackie has to sort out the mess. Suddenly, new information is revealed. Can our unlikely hero, George, save his colleagues, or will they all end up “postmarked”?
As Ron battled ALS (Lou Gherig’s Disease), we realized the best use for his film was to bring attention to this horrible disease. Now in Video On Demand, CLICK: Postmarked is available to rent for only $6.99, with half of all proceeds going to Barrow Neurological Foundation. Any other income goes to fund the site and to Producer Athena Hunting.
We lost Ron in May of 2022. Postmarked is just one way we will keep his memory alive.
